KET (Key English Test) is an exam set by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. It tests your ability to read, write, listen and speak in English, If you pass, you will get a qualification which shows that you have a basic knowledge of English and that you can do things like:
ask questions to find out someones family or hobbies,
give facts about yourself,
talk about your likes and dislikes,
understand simple instructions,
follow simple travel directios.
Ket for Schools is the same format as KET, but is for students aged between 11 and 14. It reflects the interests of young people, and includes topics like friends and family, shopping, sports and free time activities, animals, places, technology, and travel.
