New Trends is the new edition of Trends, for post-secondary Bachillerato students. Like its predecessor, New Trends is a five-level, semester-based course, in line with the RIEMS reform, the CEFR, and the Competency Framework. New Trends retains all the great features of the original series, such as clear didactic sequencing, inductive and deductive approaches to new language, integrated workbook pages, and authentic task-based production, but it has been redesigned based on feedback from teachers and academic coordinators. The result is a course that blends traditional teaching techniques with the pedagogical and technological demands of modern teaching, while at the same time offering teachers both far greater curricular flexibility and more in-depth classroom support.
